About

As it’s now been several years since Banbury’s art society closed, ‘Banbury Society of Artists’ has formed to fill the void left, and begins in 2020.

We believe that art is for everyone and want to break down the barriers people feel there are in accessing art. Our monthly demonstrations are by fantastic artists and makers to help inspire and encourage you in your creative journey.

Whether you’re an artist, maker, art student, ‘dabbler’, or just enjoy looking at art, then we have something for you here at BSA.11 talks and demonstrations per year, encompassing all forms of art, plus an annual members art exhibition, and a members only Facebook live stream of each meeting so you don’t miss out. All for £33 per year.
Meeting one evening each month for 11 months a year(except January), and consists of one hours or so demonstration by an artist/artisan/maker, followed by coffee and an hour of networking.
There will also be a live Facebook stream on a closed group for members who cannot make it to watch at a later date or join in from home.

An annual summer two day members art exhibition.

A years membership would be around £33, or £20 for students.

We meet at Banbury Town Hall, Town Hall Buildings, 1 Bridge St, Banbury OX16 5QB
